Students will explore the entire process of theatre from developing the play, to the excitement of the performance. Students will create and choose characters and collaborate on the story for the play. The instructor then takes their story to create the script. Students may choose to be a part of the "backstage" troupe, developing their artistic skills to create the stage set, backdrops, etc., or they can choose to be the actors. From there they begin rehearsing and creating the world of the story by designing the backdrops, costumes and sets. Confidence, teamwork and speaking skills are just a few of the life skills developed by theatre arts....and it's SO FUN! Performance date is the last day of class, April 8. Parents, siblings, and grandparents invited to attend.
NOTE: All participants must abide with state/county mandates which currently require masks for all indoor activities regardless of vaccination status.
